3xM – More Message in the Media is an international non-profit missions organization broadcasting Christian TV programs in West Africa, Central Asia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Programs are developed and produced together with local partners possessing the necessary know-how to make quality TV in the local language, tailored to the regions culture. Drama programs addressing relevant social issues are used as a vehicle in communicating the Gospels message. Offering a biblical alternative to destructive social norms.

Officer Research New Projects (m/f 32 hours a week)
Job Description
3xM would love to expand the activities in the 10/40 Window. The Officer Research New Projects has basically three research targets for the coming three years to fulfill this organizational desire:
– A preliminary research based on 3xM’s criteria for new territories, while at the same time identifying potential donors for this new areas narrowing it down to three to four countries.
– A closer look at these three to four countries and contacting potential donors narrowing it down to one to two countries, while creating the network in or out of country (in country for hard to reach countries/regions and out of country for closed countries).
– Commencing with firming up the network to get a commitment from church leaders in a hard to reach country as well as a commitment from a donor to support the project preferably for multiple years, resulting in at least one country to commence work after the reporting period.
Qualifications
During the above, travels will be done and experts on the field will be asked to contribute and/or be involved as far as necessary. The Officer will certainly reach out to our colleague organizations to get their insights and assets mapping on these areas of the world. With the research in hand of potentials in the field as well as potential donors, the ultimate target would be to get 3xM started in at least one new country and get the necessary funding for this new partner by the end of June 2021.
- Living Christian faith; on board with the vision and mission of 3xM;
- Relevant Master degree from accredited University;
- Professional and high level communication in English and Dutch;
- A minimum of five years of experience on research;
- Inventive, accurate and a positive attitude;
- Sensitive to the Asian and African cultures in the 10/40 Window;
- Precision, compassion for people, proactive with feeling for working within deadlines;
